Regarding “Stalking Dawn”

Most tend to admire beauty of a setting sun, yet overlook the charms a new day brings with it. I always admired breaking of a dawn and went out to behold sun-rise from places where I could have my solitude with a company of fresh rays of light.

Thus Stalking the Dawn which brings new hopes, new opportunities and a new morning.

This blog is to share thoughts which pass through my mind, mostly in form of rhymes, or poetry as some might say.

I, Dawn’s Stalker, am not a professional and hence my writings are that of an amateur. I like it when people appreciate me and I love it when people criticize my works. Please Read, Review and Rate. Share as well if you feel like it.  Happy Reading to All!

I’m probably as mad as the hatter or, if not then, only slightly less mad.

peace, and love, and to the dawn of words that rise with the sun.

  13. I haven’t read any of your work yet, as somehow my path lead me straight to this page — and without having seen the rest of your abode, I have clicked “like”…. For some reason, I feel my “feet” shall find nothing but beauty in your “garden” should I take a stroll.

    “I am not a poet,
I know not what to say.
    So I await the words
To come alive and play!” — fragrant words these are, Umr.

    • Here, the work that might be said as being mine is in fact simple thoughts channeled through my pen by the Beloved…. 🙂 really glad that another person, so fond of the same “wine”, is here to cherish it.

      • Ah, blessed is the pen that carries His Light in it and flows only for the Beloved. I am as glad, if not more to have found your abode… Indeed, drunk from the “heady wine” I too wander.

  14. Just this day I was ‘stalking the dawn’ before the sun came out and caught me, it is the most powerful time and place! Nice to hear it said by another!

    • “As she weaves her web to prey,
She knows not nature of her catch.
      As unwary as a fly,
She awaits her scheme to hatch.”

But then, a writer is also similar in a sense…. 🙂

I wish I could comment on your work, but I know nothing of poetry other than what I like.
    And I like yours.

I kinda guessed I would when I read the comment you made to White Pearl.

Those who say,”I am nothing.” earn a special kind of respect in my heart; for they admit a truth far bigger than they realize

I suspect White Pearl knows perfectly well how true her words are.

BTW, I love the shirt you wore when you accepted the prize for the Twitter Poetry Challenge. 😉

    • I’m glad you like my poetry. 🙂
And about “I am nothing.” I saw changes, and for better, when I started saying those words….
About the shirt….. A lot of people said that at the concert and many still say it whenever I wear it. 😀

  16. Thank you for stopping by my blog. Lately I’ve been drawn to poetry; the rawness and beauty so refreshing, the combination of words that soothes my soul yet makes me ponder life. Looking forward to reading more of your beautiful poetry.
